The new foliage of Nandina domestica ‘Obsessed’ is bright, coppery-red in spring, retaining its colour for many months before slowly maturing to dark green as the year progresses. Midsummer brings new interest as the white flowers appear in showy panicles. As autumn approaches, the plant is decorated with berries and the foliage colours up nicely with tints of red and orange, remaining semi-evergreen throughout winter. This compact shrub provides superb value in the garden, making an excellent specimen for the front of borders or in patio containers for year round interest.
