Here's everything we've done to make Snowdonia Nurseries as accessible as possible.

GETTING HERE

by Car

We are located on the A470 in Glan Conwy, 1 mile from A55 Junction 19. From the A55, turn right immediately after the signs welcoming you to Llansanffraid Glan Conwy. Look out for our sign at the entrance.

We are a within 20 minutes drive of Llandudno, Conwy, Colwyn Bay and Betws-y-Coed. Our postcode is LL28 5SR

by Bus

Bus service 19X runs from Llandudno to Betws-y-Coed. We are located adjacent to stop 'Conwy Court'. For further information on bus timetables, please follow the link below.

by Train

We are 0.3 miles from Glan Conwy train station - on the Conwy Valley Line from Llandudno to Blaenau Ffestiniog. When arriving at the station, turn left at the main road and follow until you reach the garden centre.

PARKING

We have 50 parking spaces in our car park which are marked out and fully level.

We have 4 dedicated accessible parking spaces immediately outside our entrance with clearly marked access areas around each space.

Our overflow car park can hold a further 20 cars. This car park has a gravel surface and parking bays are not marked.

All parking is free for customers of Snowdonia Nurseries or the Olive Tree Coffee Rooms.

Please be aware that we currently do not have any EV (Electric Vehicle) charging facilities. Our car park does not allow for overnight parking.

GETTING AROUND

Wheelchair Access

All main paths through the Garden Centre and Cafe are paved with no loose gravel.

Main paths are at least 1.5m wide

Car Parks are tarmac (excluding overflow car parking)

Smooth paths

Our Customer journey through the store is completely step-free with gentle sloping gradients between levels.

Wide automatic doors are located at the entrance and exit to the store. Lightweight doors are located at the entrance to the Cafe toilets.

Step-Free Store

An accessible toilet is located within our Cafe through two lightweight doors. The toilet contains assistance rails and an emergency alarm cord.

Please ask a member of staff should you require any assistance.

The Cafe is large with tables well spaced out, allowing space for wheelchair access.

Menu's can be provided in larger print if required.

Cafe Accessibility

We have 3 wheelchairs available for loan free of charge. These are located at our entrance on the right, immediately after the first automatic door.

We do not currently allow booking or reservation of wheelchairs.

Wheelchair Loan

Our staff are more than happy to help you during your visit - whether it is reaching items on higher shelves or putting compost in your car.

Prams and Young Families

Our large car park provides plenty of space to get prams and mobility aids out of vehicles.

Our shop is step free with pram friendly flooring and automatic doors throughout

Parking and Access

Our accessible toilet in the Cafe has a baby changing facility.

We are proud to be a Breastfeeding Friendly Venue.

New for July 2026 - our dedicated Kids Zone room within our Cafe - where toddlers can enjoy free use of toys within a safe environment whilst mums and dads hopefully manage to enjoy a Coffee whilst it's still warm!

Sensory Sensitivity

We understand that some customers may prefer to shop or attend events at quieter times.

We are quietest before 11am each day.

At Christmas, we have special events and shopping hours for those who require sensory sensitive lighting / sound. Complete our Contact form to find out more.
